The 2009 WRX may get 265 hp…The STi Spec C was spotted on the Ring…A new model powered by the WRX engine…Oh my!

Just some recent news and rumors I’ve been hearing over the week:

Some “leaked information” about the 2009 WRX model variant is saying it will boost 265 horsepower, upgraded suspension, and various other features. Of course, this is all purely speculative, but very interesting indeed,

Recently spotted was the STi Spec C, doing tracks. This variant of the STi is slightly improved adding a few more horsepower, however it’s emphasis is really on weight reduction dropping 70kg or 155lbs from the standard STi model! Also improved is the stiffer suspension, more responsive steering, and “taller gearing and brakes are upgraded to bigger disks with 6-piston calipers”.

A new car has been announced called the Impreza GT which will utilize the WRX’s 224 hp engine and have some nice interior features (moonroof, ivory interior?)
