“Subaru WRX may have lost its wide-eyed look, but still packs a punch”

Winnipeg Free Press Autos recently wrote about the 08 WRX. Ok, so we all are pretty informed about the 08 WRX but the reason I pointed out this article is because it brings out some of the things we Subie Freaks discuss about regarding it (like being more “main-steam”), and what the “contrarians” think LOL.

Here’s a small snippet of the article:
“No, it doesn’t stand out as much. But it still has a slightly menacing stance and it still retains its iconic hood scoop. Had Subaru just released this WRX as its first-generation sports car in North America, we would be congratulating ourselves on its marriage of sophisticated styling and brutal performance. So, let’s get over missing the Marty Feldman headlights and move on.”

…LOL, humorous and good read, the article was more on the positive side. It’s also pretty short, so give it a read if you have 5-10 minutes to spare.
