The Local Subaru Meets Series showcases some of the Subaru meets running all across America. To kick things off, I’m going to be talking about a meet that I’ve been to(And probably will go again!), which is the Alexandria meet. It starts off in Alexandria, VA and then it goes somewhere around northern VA to eat. I interviewed the founder of the meet, hottwrx02 (He didn’t mention his real name :D), to get the inside scoop. Check it out! (Minor editing was done by me.)

So tell me about yourself: Well im 21 and I have lived in Alexandria all my life. I go to school and work like CRAZY!!

Could I get a brief description of your meet: The meets are once a month. I try to make them on a weekend so people are able to come out.

What?s the routine? Well we meet up for about an hour, check out the cool rides, talk, hang out, and then we take a drive somewhere to eat.

Why or how did you decide to come up with it? Well one day I was at my friends house(Louis) along with Kevin, and the idea of meeting more people with Subarus came up and then I decided to post on NASIOC about a Alexandria meet…that is how everything started

How long has it been running? It’s only been our 4th one so once every month would be 4 months lol

What?s the atmosphere like? Is it pretty chill? The atmosphere is super chill, lol everyone is nice and very helpful with things

What?s the age demographics? Teens? Young-adults? Middle-Aged? Mixed? MIXED! I’ve notice we had a little bit of everything this last meet

Can you name any of the regulars (NASIOC or real names)? Yeah, Jessica, Clay, John, Louis, and Anthony( i think i spelled his name right)

What?s the average number of people that come to it? Well each meet we get bigger. Our first meet we had 6 cars…this last meet we had 26 cars and 30+ppl, HELLYA!

Got any cool/funny stories? Well our first meet was at Hooters and we had some weird guy with BIG pants. His buddy with driving gloves come up to us and asked us if we had anything done other then the hoods and then asked us to race them right in front of hooters. It was only funny if u where there…On our third meet we made the HOOTERS girls go out in the cold and take pics with us that was pretty kool of them to do

What?s some of the sweetest rides you?ve seen at the meet? Well we had everything show up, like a swapped RS ,a gt35r STi…but one that stood out for me was Anthony’s 20g buyeye…coming from a buyeye i was shocked on how much it was making

Best parts of the meet? The end result knowing that each time we get more and more cars showing up

Worst parts? When it’s over
